Birds are everywhere in the Delta 65 area. Birds migrate along the Mississippi River flyway, and all you have to do is look and you'll see graceful herons, egrets (cow-birds), songbirds, hummingbirds and so many more. Audubon did much of his work in this area of Louisiana. Bring your binoculars and bird identification book along on your trip, and enjoy the breathtaking number of species you'll add to your life list while you visit!!
